We don't stock our own fabric brochures because this allows you as the client to have free rein over what you choose. We do however offer a consultancy service where we will build a sample board for you of a range of samples that match your budget and design ideas. Go to Pricing to learn more.
Get in touch! You can either drop us an email on e.g.studios.bespoke@gmail.com or follow the form on our contact us page. Let us know as many details of your project as you can, we'll then review your requirements and either book a home visit, if you're local* or schedule a phone call or Zoom call to discuss further.
If there isn't something featured on our price list and you had something unique in mind, it's likely because we've never done it before, however, we are here to help. We will always try and meet your requirements so let us know what it is you have in mind and we will treat as a journey of discovery and see what we can create.
Our products are all bespoke made by hand in the UK which means it can take a lot longer to despatch compared to other retailers. The longevity of a job will determine how long it takes to make but upon quotation you will be supplied with a job start date and a recommended completion date. This will give you an idea of when to expect your piece(s).
If you are within a 10 mile radius of us we will deliver your items by hand at no extra charge. If you happen to be further afield then we will despatch using a reputable courier for a fair price. This will be discussed with you upon quotation.
At the moment, we sadly do not offer installations of our window treatments, however if you are local to us we have a contact who we can recommend.
Compared to other interior design programmes we don't cost a fortune in this department. A swatch consultation is simply a bit of extra help. Finding fabrics that are right for your home and tonal with your other interiors can be hard and when faced with a never end internet search it can be very overwhelming. In simple terms we can do some of that leg work for you and what you'll receive after is a swatch presentation with our suggests for you based on your budget, colour requirements and individual style.
Do I have to use E.G Studios to make my products after the swatch consultation?
Of course not, you can take away your swatch presentation and look elsewhere. There is no obligation to go ahead if you want to rethink your project as we understand these things take time and it's worth getting right first time.
Before you get your tape measure out you want to determine the finish of your curtains or blinds.
For curtains this could be where you want your track or pole to sit. Things that you might wish to consider are where you furniture sits in your room, how tall your ceilings are etc. These will affect your width and drop of your finished curtains and it's a good idea to ensure the overall proportions of your window treatments help your space feel more curated. If you need guidance on this, we're only a phone call away.
Similarly for blinds, you want to make sure the blind placement is well thought out. For blinds we can either fit an inside recess or an outside recess. The choice between these depends on which you prefer the look of but also are there any obstacles that might prevent the blind from sitting properly, such as decorations on windowsills or a tap in a kitchen or bathroom.
Ok, now you can get measuring.
For curtains you'll want to measure the width of your pole or tracking. Don't worry this doesn't have to be installed and you don't have to own it yet but based on the decision you made above you should have an idea on where you want your curtains to sit. This measurement is called the WIDTH. Next you need to measure your DROP, this is how long you want your curtains to be. We prefer to work from the top of the pole down. if you want them floor length, measure from the tope of your pole to the floor then deduct 1cm.
For blinds you'll want to measure the inside of your window and that's it. Take 3 measurements on the vertical; left side closest to the wall, middle of the window and right side closest to the wall, top to bottom. Then do the same horizontally; left, middle and right, side to side. Once you have 3 vertical measurements and 3 horizontal measurements, choose the smallest one of each and they will be what you send over to us. Don't worry about adding on extra if you want your blind to be on the outside recess, we do all of that for you. The allocated allowance is 5 cms each side and 7 cms added to the drop, if you would like different please let us know at the time of quotation.
